Free cinema trips to boost learning

Posted: 13th December 2018

Excited children visited the cinema to mark the end of their latest topic.

Year 4 pupils from Roydon Primary Academy went to Cineworld Cinema, Harlow, as part of the Into Film Festival.

The free tickets enabled the group to see Teen Titans Go to the Movies.

Class teacher Matthew Girvan said: “The aim of this trip was to celebrate the end of their learning journey on Ancient Greece where they learned about stories involving heroes and villains. It also meant many of the children were given a new experience of going to the cinema, completely free of charge.

“Educational visits provide some of the best memories for children at school and this one was no different.”
