Children have completed more than 1,400 laps of the school field in support of families in Ukraine.
Pupils at Roydon Primary Academy took part in a sponsored run to raise money for the Disasters Emergency Committee: Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
Year 5 and 6 pupils covered a total of 1,483 laps, raising £1,374 for the cause.
Families also donated nappies, towels, toiletries and underwear to the Ukrainian Refugee Aid Appeal.
Whitney Watson, Year 5 class teacher, said: “The sponsored run was an astounding success. We are incredibly proud of every single runner and the effort they put in.
“We genuinely could not be prouder of these amazing children.
“We are also overwhelmed by the generosity and very proud of our school community.”
