Families struggling to put food on the table were supported by young people from Roydon.

Pupils at Roydon Primary Academy collected food for Harlow Food Bank as part of their Harvest celebrations.

Head of school Anna Myatt said: “The whole school went to church and sang songs, read poems and listened to a story by the Rev Attew.

“It’s really important for the children to learn about the Harvest and its importance as a festival. The children also learnt about giving to their community.”
