Do any schools in the / North London area have an old school over head projector that I can borrow for a day to project an image on to a 2m x 4m canvas so the kids can draw an outline of an image we are going to paint? https://t.co/ys0AO7KZS8

To inspire Fox class writing, our English lesson was a bit different today. We built rafts out of materials to see if they would float - just like Fred in ‘The Explorer’. We had 100% success rate! https://t.co/ROqV3fVq1V

Football Success

Posted: 4th October 2016

On Tuesday afternoon our Year 5/6 (with a Year 4) football team attended a football tournament hosted by Burnt Mill. The tournament was split into two groups with the group winners progressing to next week’s finals. I am very happy to say that the team won their group with two wins and a draw, despite only scoring 2 goals! They played with amazing sportsmanship, and some incredible skill. Well done to all the boys and girl you represented Roydon brilliantly.

A friendly against the other group winners which ended in a 2-0 defeat shows the challenge that faces them next week. Feel free to pop along and cheer them on! Speak to Mr Girven for details.
